NPD Assistant

As NPD Assistant, you will work within our Bread team to design and develop bread concepts. You will also be a key person for new joiners’ inductions and supporting the training of others as part of our Bakery Excellence programme. No two days will be the same and you’ll work on areas from blue sky creativity, supporting with factory trials to competitor shopping and organising samples for customers.

Location - Northwich, Cheshire

What You Will Contribute

Baking, selecting, packing and despatching samples for our customers

Creating new product concepts and presenting them to the wider Commercial Team and stakeholders

Running taste and assessment panels for the project teams

Managing the raw materials inventory, hygiene and health & safety aspects of the Test Bakery

Ensuring all activity is completed to BRC compliant standards, company policies and procedures ensuring accurate record-keeping

Supporting inductions and on-boarding through bakery demonstrations

What You Will Bring

Food related qualification (Baking preferred but not essential)

Ability to understand customer needs and proactively offer great service

Planning and organising skills to manage the workplan

Collaborative work style, team player and good attention to detail

Good communication, approachable and with great interpersonal skills

Flexible and agile in approach with the ability to respond quickly to requests
