Adecco Recruitment are currently recruiting for on behalf of our client, an Insurance Advisor to work for a successful and growing business based in the heart of Lancaster.

Full-time, Permanent

Salary dependent on experience to £21K + uncapped bonus scheme and pension

Working hours are 37.5 per week (Mon - Fri 9am to 5.30pm) and currently 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am to 1pm.

Previous Sales Experience essential

Duties:

To sell and renew insurance policies, perform mid term adjustments and identify cross selling opportunities whilst ensuring customers are treated fairly at all times.

The office specialises in niche areas of personal lines insurance, in particular high performance and high value cars, classic cars and high risk car insurance. An interest in high performance cars would be an advantage.

Skills Required:

1 Year + Insurance experience desirable - 1 Year + Sales experience essential - Target driven - Pro-Active - Friendly and Outgoing - Confident What do you need to do? - Embrace and embed the company culture, policies and procedures - Demonstrate full regulatory compliance awareness and adherence - Advise clients on the policy cover, terms and conditions, and ensure that all customers are treated fairly - Respond promptly to client queries and ensure that all communications with customers and/or insurers are accurately recorded - Give instructions and relay any issues to Insurance providers - Show technical and product knowledge - Manage individual diary system and allocate/respond to mail promptly - Complete work within the company KPI targets
