Instructional Designer

The V&A is the world’s leading museum of art and design, housing a permanent collection of over 2.3 million objects, spanning over 5,000 years of human creativity. The V&A holds many of the UK’s national collections and houses some of the greatest resources for the study of architecture, furniture, fashion, textiles, photography, sculpture, painting, jewellery, glass, ceramics, book arts, Asian art and design, theatre, and performance.

The People Department, led by the Director of People and Change, is integral to supporting and enabling the V&A’s ambitious strategy. This incorporates outreach to engage new audiences through ED&I deliverables and supporting expansion of the V&A’s digital and physical footprint, including:

Opening two new visitor sites in East London, 2024
Museum of Childhood (Young V&A, Bethnal Green) refurbishment
Extending reach of collections, such as V&A Wedgewood Collection, Barlastion Stoke-on-Trent
In support of the V&A’s goals, the Talent and Skills (T&S) team is developing its digital learning offering, through expansion of content on the V&A’s eLearning platform, provided by Learningpool (My Learning), to further workforce development.
