The IT/IS landscape and organisational structure mirrors the diverse and complex nature of the business operational and commercial organisation, therefore requiring strong leadership, depth of knowledge, and influencing skills underpinned by proven shrewd commercial and negotiation skills and experience.
Your Role

This role sits at the forefront of our IS solutions in which you will lead a highly motivated team whose focus is wholly on the provision of effective IS business system solutions. As part of the senior leadership team your scope of responsibilities will encompass the ability to influence and commercially represent technical leadership across the wider KN.
Your Responsibilities
  • As the IS stakeholder you will ensure that current and future plans are aligned with customer and business objectives
  • Working collaboratively with the operational teams to ensure that the IS provision is meeting expectations
  • Establish effective communications with customers ensuring that K&N are meeting their IS expectations support new business opportunities by creating a deployment strategy, including cost model and functional outline
  • Management of the IS team providing clear structure and direction
  • Programme manage the system development projects ensuring that targets are clearly defined and managed
  • Use exceptional relationship development skills, building effective partnerships with IS suppliers while ensuing that all parties align on strategic development opportunities.
  • Provide a provision of support processes and personnel to assist in triaging and fault finding across all IS systems including systems and business process knowledge of all end to end processes that relate to systems in own area of responsibility.
  • Utilise technical expertise to support systems integration analysis, fault finding and resolution.

Your Skills And Experiences
  • Strong proven leadership with the ability to influence across varied internal and external stakeholder management groups
  • Proven track record in successfully managing IS related projects / programmes to demanding timescales is essential
  • Experience of delivering complex change management in a fast moving 24/7 environment is essential
  • Proven track record in leading project delivery teams in large organisations and managing a project portfolio
  • Proven commercial awareness and experience of external customer and supplier engagement at a senior management level
  • Proven ability in cross functional and inter-corporate relationship building to achieve desired outcomes
  • The ability to agree and manage priorities, ensuring that conflicting requirements are prioritised correctly, in line with business strategy and operational expectations
  • Desirable: management experience of operating within a regulated commercial supply chain operation
