The Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital is a Foundation Trust and is a renowned centre for specialist Paediatric and Women’s services based over two sites at Edgbaston and Birmingham city Centre. The Trust’s Informatics’ Department has a vacancy for an
Information and Performance Analyst and is looking to recruit an exceptional candidate to this post. This is a full time (37.5 hours) permanent post.

The post-holder will provide an information and performance service within the Trust and will promote the use of information and the development of an analytical culture, supporting and enabling divisions to use and work with information provided. Within particular divisions the post-holder will act as a named link on performance and information issues and make an important contribution to the management of those area(s).

The post holder will need to have both an excellent analytical skill set and very well developed communication and inter-personal skills so that he/she can engage widely with staff of all kinds across the Trust. The post holder will have a well-developed NHS informatics background but he/she must also have a good appreciation of the challenges of NHS operational management at a Trust and will be expected to use their analytical skills to contribute to solutions.
