Do you want to work for the UK’s market leading structural steel company?

Severfield is the market leader in structural steel, recognised for its iconic structures and engineering excellence. Involved in the UK’s highest profile building projects, we have the design and engineering capabilities to deliver the UK’s largest, most complex projects.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Relations Manager to join our Nuclear and Infrastructure Division based at Hinkley Point in Somerset.

You will need to ensure the site is compliant with all the relevant employment regulations and provide information and support for any potential issues that arise, facilitating effective engagement and liaison with the necessary parties on any workforce issues.

We are looking for someone with a background in HR or IR management, who is CIPD qualified, with experience dealing with IR issues, ideally within the construction industry. Experience working with Unions is also desired. You will need to be a strong leader with a collaborative nature, and excellent communication skills.

In return, Severfield offers a competitive salary and benefits package, the opportunity for you to feel valued and empowered at work, as well as knowing that you are employed by the UK’s market leader in structural steel.
