Position: Independent Financial Advisor

Location: Caterham, Surrey (hybrid role)

Minimum Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Advisor; CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning; CAS status ideal but not essential

Salary/package: £50,000 to £70,000 + bonuses + 27 days’ annual leave + pension (5%, 5%) + healthcare + various other benefits.

Our client is a Top 10 Chartered Financial Planner & Employee Benefits firm, based in Caterham, Surrey. Due to expansion, this award-winning business has a requirement for a new Independent Financial Advisor to join its growing Private Client division.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Sales, Marketing & Operations Director, the Independent Financial Advisor’s key purpose is to provide existing, potential and new private clients with financial planning advice and to proactively deliver the company’s ongoing advice and servicing commitments. The Independent Financial Advisor will be responsible for the advice and servicing of an existing client bank, and be expected to grow the portfolio in terms of client numbers and assets. The Independent Financial Advisor role is a hybrid position (2 days per week working from home) and enjoys full administration support.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates interested in the Independent Financial Advisor vacancy will require the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ UK experience as an Advisor/UK resident
  • The CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
  • CAS status (ideal but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and networking skills

REMUNERATION / PACKAGE

The package for the Independent Financial Advisor vacancy is as follows:

  • £50,000-£70,000 salary
  • Clients, leads and full administration support provided
  • Annual bonuses
  • 27 days’ annual leave (rising to 29)
  • Pension (5%, 5%)
