My client is a thriving business that has become an industry leader within the IT sector. They have been operating for over 15 years, employ over 200 staff and have annual revenues in the multi millions. Due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit an Inbound Sales Advisor to join their vibrant team based in Harrogate. Their office is Covid secure.
Role responsibilities:
- Responding to webchats, emails and inbound phone calls regarding product enquiries
- Checking to see if products are in stock and advising customers accordingly
- Calling suppliers regarding products if not in stock with a view to facilitating the sale
- Processing orders efficiently
- Regular communication with existing customers
- Monitoring website activity to convert into potential sales
- Liaising with other departments – Marketing, finance, logistics etc
- Attending sales coaching and training to develop your sales experience and progress within the company
- Working in a very fast paced environment, juggling multiple sales enquiries
Essential requirements:
- Inbound sales experience or order processing experience is essential
- An interest in IT products would be an advantage!
- Very comfortable engaging with customer over the phone
- Strong English language skills particularly spelling and grammar
- Used to working to set KPIs and SLAs
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer literacy
- Ability to use your time wisely and efficiently
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritising your workload and multitasking
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident, professional manner
- A happy and relaxed attitude
- Enjoy working in a busy and energetic environment
- Keen to continue learning and developing your skills
What’s on offer:
- Competitive base salary between £20k and £22k depending on sales experience
- Realistic, achievable commission structure with an OTE of around £25k

- Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm with no evening or weekend working
