The primary objective of this role is to develop In-Home solutions to meet current and future customer needs. These solutions will be delivered via Jurassic Fibre’s new FTTH network.

Enhancement of existing products and services as well as the development of new ones.

  • Work closely with Marketing, validate customer requirements and investigate potential solutions from both a technical and cost perspective.
  • Conduct the necessary lab tests to validate potential solutions, ensuring they are fully manageable and scalable.
  • Produce product designs and any other documentation necessary for the introduction of the enhancements/new products into the business.
  • Ensure any new products are integrated into the BSS & OSS platform and provide a handover to Operations including training support where necessary.
  • Maintain an awareness of competitor products and suggest where Jurassic can obtain a competitive edge.
  • Keep up to date with new in home standards and technology solutions that can enable new products to be developed.
  • Any other duties that may reasonably be required of you.

Qualifications:

  • An Honours degree in Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer preferred
  • CWNP or equivalent preferred

Experience:

  • At least 4 years’ experience of developing in-home solutions for a telecommunications operator.
  • Substantial Wi-Fi and smart home/IoT technologies experience
  • Ability to assess customer requirements and investigate potential solutions from both a technical and cost perspective.
  • Experience in several of the following products: internet access, Wi-Fi, voice, IPTV, cameras and CCTV, smart home/IoT solutions and their associated network technologies.
  • Ability to produce end-to-end product designs and any other documentation necessary for the introduction of the enhancements/new products into the business.
  • Experience of validating potential customers solutions through lab testing.
  • Experience of integrating product solutions into a BSS & OSS platform to provide a fully automated provisioning, performance monitoring and fault management solution.
  • Ability to work in a new, dynamic, and rapidly expanding company.
