We are looking for an innovative and emphatic individual to join our Redcar Domestic Abuse Services Refuge as an IDVA Triage Worker.The role of the IDVA Triage Worker is to support the IDVA team in the processing of referrals and to make initial telephone contact to clients offering support from the IDVA support workers and to offer initial safety advice in relation to domestic abuse.
Your day to day responsibilities could see you receiving and processing referrals, taking telephone call, contacting agencies, maintaining records, supporting customers in recognising dynamics of domestic abuse and offering advice on safety planning.
As a Triage Worker, you will be passionate, inspirational, open minded and most importantly you will be yourself.
