Reports to: Managing Director

Purpose:To effectively manage and maintain the HR function for FMP Ltd encompassing Employee Relations, Recruitment, Employee Engagement, Learning & Development and Payroll. To drive continuous improvement of the HR function and people initiatives across the wider business. To liaise with and coordinate activities within the wider CliniMed Group so as to ensure best practice, Group directives and legislation are maintained as appropriate within FMP Ltd.

Responsibilities:

  • To support, guide and coach managers/supervisors across the business with their people-related activities.
  • Empower, coach and develop the HR Advisor (direct line report).
  • To understand and implement appropriate CliniMed policies within the organisation and to liaise and cooperate with the Group HR activities where required.
  • Ensure that an effective recruitment strategy is in place to support the wider business in recruiting and retaining the best talent.
  • Support and champion employee engagement initiatives across the business.
  • To ensure that the personnel files of all employees are accurately updated and maintained, ensuring all sensitive and confidential data is processed in line with the GDPR.
  • Oversee the monthly payroll cycle ensuring that errors are kept to a minimum and all submissions are made in a timely manner including monthly payroll reports.
  • Ensure all relevant systems are maintained with the correct and up to date HR data.
  • Escalate people issues to the MD and Group HR Director where appropriate.
  • To manage and maintain HR reports for local and Group requirements on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
  • To co-ordinate the annual Performance Development Review (PDR) cycle and support with any subsequent training, development or performance related interventions.
  • To attend Group HR meetings and workshops as required. This activity may involve occasionally travel to other CliniMed sites within the UK.
  • Initiate and lead HR project work that will streamline the HR function and provide wide reaching benefits across the business.
  • FMP Fleet Cars

  • Liaise with the Group Fleet Coordinator for all FMP fleet car related issues.
  • Hire cars as and when required for FMP employees keeping in mind at all times the company budget and the environment.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

    1. CIPD qualified

    2. Minimum 3 years working within a HR remit

    3. Up to date knowledge of employment legislation

    4. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

    5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    6. High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times

    7. Strong organisational skills

    8. Meticulous approach with high level of attention to detail

    9. Calm, rational and level-headed
