This is an exciting time to join the People and Organisational Development Directorate here at United Lincolnshire Hospital Trust.We are currently implementing the outcomes of an ambitious People and Organisational Development restructure to reshape our service and deliver an improved people and organisational development service to the Trust.

We are looking for an inclusive and engaging HR Advisor with drive, vision and case experience to support us in our mission to ensure we are providing a service which is fit for purpose now and also fit for the future, providing assurance not only to the Trust Board but also to ourselves that we are meeting the needs of our divisions, operational services and ultimately impacting on patient care for United Lincolnshire Hospitals and beyond.

As a HR Advisor you will support the Divisional Head of HR and HR Manager in the delivery of an efficient and effective HR support and advisory service to designated divisions by providing first line contact on all people related issues consistent with internal policy and processes, national terms and conditions and legal requirements.

Responsible for advising managers on people related issues and providing a comprehensive, professional and business focused specialist HR advisory service.

You will coach and advise line managers and employees on a range of employment practices, policies and terms and conditions and responsible for advising and supporting managers on employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, short-term and long-term attendance management, performance improvement and bullying and harassment cases.

You will develop effective and valued relationships with divisions in order to influence, challenge and support service delivery. Providing expertise to designated divisions and advising on all aspects of workforce performance, development, change programmes and employee relations by providing high quality strategic and operational workforce advice to enable the achievement of operational and strategic objectives.

This district general hospital serves the city of Lincoln and the North Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.

Louth Hospital is set on the edge of the Wolds and serves the communities of Louth and the local area. It provides a number of services, including an outpatient department, diagnostic and surgical procedures, as well as a surgical ward.
