Role Overview

To provide a professional, efficient, and effective HR administration service across the Trust in accordance with policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities
  • Assist with the preparation of job adverts, job descriptions and person specifications
  • Create offer packs, contracts of employments, change to contract letters & leaver letters
  • Administer all new starter paperwork e.g. pre-employment checks, and references
  • Data inputting of new starter employment details onto HR database – Support the HR Officer in ensuring that the Single Central Records are maintained
  • Input weekly absences onto the payroll system
  • Support the HR Manager and HR Officer in accurately inputting and checking monthly payroll
  • Ensure all Right to work details are up to date and meet UKVI regulations
  • Help to manage the HR and Recruitment inbox
  • Respond and advise on basic HR issues including maternity, sickness and general HR queries
  • Ensure all personnel files are set up and kept up to date
  • Ensure the maintenance of employee records, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with general copying, filing, archiving of documents as required
  • Provide the first point of contact in a polite and upbeat manner for the main HR telephone number
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as and when required
  • And such other duties as are within the scope of the spirit of the job purpose, the title of the post and its grading.
