Human Resources Administrator - Exeter / Remote - £Neg DOE + Generous Annual Bonus + Exceptional Benefits

Well Placed HR have been exclusively assigned by a high-profile law firm with an excellent reputation for staff retention and development, who seek to recruit an HR Administrator to join their growing people management function. This is a full time, permanent position offered on a hybrid working contract - three days based at the company’s HQ and two days operated remotely.

The role will work within a team of six and work closely with an experienced HR Manager. This is the perfect opportunity for a junior level HR Administrator who wants to develop a career in a broad and interesting position with an employer who actively encourages and supports career development. Key responsibilities to include:

  • Provide assistance with all administrative employee tasks to include maintaining and updating employee files
  • Liaison with recruitment agencies and third party suppliers
  • Taking a lead role in administering DBS and reference checks
  • Assisting the recruitment team with onboarding
  • Contributing to wellbeing and engagement initiatives
  • Working with HR Manager on large projects

For this role we seek a candidate with a minimum of 6-12 months of recently gained experience as an HR Administrator (or similar), ideally, though not essentially having commenced CIPD studies. This is a busy, friendly function within the firm and the successful candidate can expects a fast-paced, highly efficient working environment. The role will require the successful candidate to have excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong IT aptitude, and a great team spirited attitude. The role will call for professionalism and a nurturing approach to employee wellbeing.
