We are looking for a part-time HR Administrator to join our team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Administer HR-related documentation, such as offer letters, contracts of employment, salary changes, reference requests within the employee life-cycle.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job adverts internally and externally and liaising with agencies regarding temporary staff.
  • Document human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Ensure electronic and paper-based personnel files are maintained and filing/archiving is completed in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with HSEQ to ensure inductions are completed and training records are kept up to date.
  • Administer and promote employee benefit schemes.
  • Update company intranet site and other company platforms with HR related content
  • Liaise with the finance department to ensure records are up to date for payroll.
  • Ensure the HR Database accurately reflects current employee conditions and details. This includes inputting starters and leavers, contractual amendments, change of details, annual leave and recording of sicknesses and other leave.
  • Accompany managers in formal meetings in the capacity of note-taker.
  • Create appropriate reports on HR metrics and data.

The right candidate will have:

  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Good level of formal education including GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Good accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong planning and organisation abilities
  • Excellent IT/computer skills with experience of Microsoft office programs
  • Understanding of HR activities is desirable but not essential
