Due to continued growth and a healthy order book for the future, our ongoing client are looking to recruit a HSE Advisor to assist the Head of Engineering & Quality in the ongoing development of Health & Safety systems. This is a newly created role that offers the candidate the opportunity to make their mark within the quality department. About the HSE Advisor role:* Review existing and develop new systems for working within H&S * Implement new processes in accordance with ISO 45001* Create and prepare documents and reports for the senior management team and make recommendations to department heads* Carry out inspections and investigate incidents or near misses, identifying root causes and recommend improvements * Seek to improve the amount of near misses or incidents recorded* Ensure compliance standards are being met throughout the businessCandidate Attributes:* Previous experience of leading H&S within a busy manufacturing/engineering setting* Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate* Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to implement processes and policiesAbout the company:Our client are a long standing engineering business that have a strong reputation with the customers.
