Job Description

The HR Team Leader will proactively influence the HR Administration Team to deliver all aspects of the HR service with passion and commitment to provide a consistently great customer experience to the wider business. Although the day to day role will be heavily operational, you must have the ability to work strategically with the Senior Management Team, supporting the delivery of the HR agenda and organisation strategic priorities.

Additional duties will include;

  • Manage the HR Administration team day to day in effective delivery of all employee life cycle processes including, onboarding, contractual changes, leavers and maintenance of the HR system
  • Act as an escalation point for the HR Administrators, investigate any complex issues or queries and resolve to conclusion where necessary
  • Ensure that clear and standardised processes are followed that focus on quality and accuracy of work in line with established standard
  • Coach, develop and motivate the HR Administration team day to day, supporting and providing advice and guidance to the team on all employee lifecycle processes
  • Influence development of the wider HR team and collaborate with other teams across the HR service

The Successful Applicant

We’re looking for candidates with;

  • Previous experience of leading an HR Administration Team within a shared service environment
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve potential problems or issues and take necessary actions to prevent them from developing
  • Highly organised with ability to plan, delegate priorities and multitask high volumes of daily service/ work requests
  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment
  • Proactive and practical approach to problem solving and ability to identify areas for improvements in process, services and team ways of working
