We are currently recruiting for a HR Talent Partner to join an organisation which create transformational learning experiences for young people, so they are ready to meet the challenges of the 21st century. The ideal HR Talent Partner will be responsible for talent solutions that drive employee performance and engagement and build talent pipeline for seasonal recruitment. The role involves leading a team of people to deliver a compliant recruitment and onboarding process, meeting the groups recruitment initiatives, from conception and design through implementation, measurement and continuous improvement and overseeing the talent resourcing operation and process.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and plays a key team role in design, development and execution of talent solutions including strategies, frameworks, tools, and KPI’s.
  • Focus will be attraction, selection, assessment, background checks, performance management and succession planning, with particular emphasis on the aspects of compliance/onboarding .
  • Deliver a first class candidate experience which enhances the brand of the Group and its trade brands.
  • Oversees workforce needs assessment with HR colleagues
  • Partners with the key stakeholders to ensure successful development and deployment of talent solutions throughout the business
  • Evaluates impact of Talent solutions to identify continuous improvement.
  • Manages the effective delivery of resourcing operations with a key eye on the latest government initiatives and support and how these can be best utilised.
  • To manage and coordinate the staff responsible for the delivery of recruitment solutions.
  • Ensure that devolved budgetary responsibility for the Department is managed effectively and in line with the Groups strategic objectives

Requirements:

  • Experience in the field of Recruitment / HR / Talent management with an emphasis on volume recruitment.
  • Experience conducting DBS and safeguarding checks and making sure these are complete prior to any new joiner commencing work.
  • Able to demonstrate thorough leadership in the area of Talent management with evidence of continuous learning in this field.
  • Experience coaching / mentoring HR/Recruitment professionals
  • Experience liaising with internal stakeholders and freelancers
  • An analytical approach with the ability to use data to identify themes, trends and issues to support solution development and evidence based decision making.
  • The ability to be hands on and lead my example
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
