Job Title: HR Shared Services Manager

Location: Office-based, Leeds, LS15 8ZB

Salary: £28,000 to £31,000 dependant on experience

Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

We are seeking an organised and proficient HR Shared Services Manager to oversee our HR Shared Services team at our Leeds Head Office. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the efficient delivery of HR services, maintaining accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service levels across our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the HR Shared Services team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement standardised HR policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure consistency and compliance across all HR functions.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience.
  • Manage payroll processes, collaborating with finance and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all payroll-related activities.
  • Spearhead HRIS initiatives, optimising system functionalities, and ensuring data integrity while leveraging technology for efficient service delivery.
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on HR metrics and analysis to drive business objectives.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within HR practices and across the organisation.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure HR processes align with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Handle complex HR issues, investigations, and conflict resolution, maintaining confidentiality and fairness in all cases.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance HR service delivery through feedback mechanisms and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in HR Shared Services or a similar role within the facilities management or related industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management.
  • Knowledge of HR operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and adeptness with HR software applications.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
