Albion Fine Foods is a wholesaler based in Tonbridge, supplying everything from fresh fruit and veg, to frozen chips and ice cream to some of the finest chefs across London and the South East. We have some ambitious growth plans and, as such, are looking to expand the HR team to be able to fully support the business and our managers.

We are looking for a HR/Recruitment Advisor whose main focus will initially be recruitment but the role will also include advising managers on people practices and policies. Main duties will include:

  • Coordinating the end to end recruitment process
  • Onboarding of new employees
  • Providing up to date and accurate guidance to managers and employees on all people related matters
  • Support on disciplinaries, grievances and performance management
  • Provide support and guidance on absence management

The successful candidate will be a real ‘people person’ with a passion for delivering a high level HR service, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ideally at least Level 5 CIPD qualified with a desire to continue learning with:

  • Experience in a similar role with a recruitment focus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work with managers at all levels
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good organisation and planning skills with the ability to work autonomously
  • Good analytical skills and ability to analyse HR data and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Strong PC skills with experience using Word, Excel and Powerpoint

This is a full time role, working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Salary £25,000 per annum
