HR & Development Officer
Rhyl, Hybrid
£23,900 (Increasing with development to £27,455)
A not-for-profit organisation who has maintained their ‘Gold Small Workplace Health Award’ seek an individual who can demonstrate Human Resources experience in a generalist capacity, supported by relevant qualifications. You will be working for 2 days in the office with 3 days working from home, therefore you must live within commutable distance to LL18.

The Role
- Responsible for recruiting, on-boarding and developing staff
- Ensure staff have the training, support and resources they need to flourish in work
- Provide focussed support for employees and managers in implementing company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (attendance, leave etc.)
- Assist in performance management processes
- Oversee mandatory staff training, and develop/source bespoke training and development opportunities across all areas of service
- Review employment and working conditions in line with best practice and ensuring legal compliance
Skills & Experience Required
To be suitable for this role we want to hear from you if you can demonstrate current experience working in a HR Officer / Generalist role; exercising the following skills: -
- Recruitment & Training
- Implementing wellbeing processes
- Advising employees about personnel and HR practises
- Reporting staffing information
- Pay & Benefit knowledge
If you speak welsh this would be an advantage however it is not essential. Any experience working with a not-for-profit organisation or wellbeing / mindfulness and workplace support community roles will excel your application to the relative nature of this business.
