We are currently looking for a HR Manager to work directly for M4 Recruitment. As a brand new position in the Company this is a fantastic opportunity for and experience HR professional to join an ambitious, fast growing organisation and have direct involvement in the development of L&D practices that will help facilitate the company’s future growth and development.

Who are M4?

The M4 Group are a Recruitment Business and Consultancy, comprised of 3 Specialist brands, operating from various locations throughout the UK. Incorporated in 2015 we are a fresh, forward thinking Organisation, who have seen exponential growth throughout the past 6 years. Today, we are a Team of over 50 internal employees and over 1000 contracted temporary workers.

The Role

The HR functions of the business are currently managed by the Directors and Senior Management Team, with support from an internal administrator and an external HR provider. It is our intention for bring the majority of these functions into one position, maintaining only the external advisory facilities.

As HR Manager you will primarily support the management of internal employees, but additionally provide support and advice on the human resources elements related to our contracted temporary workforce. We are looking for candidates who can support in carving out this new position within the business, making the role their own and adding value to the business. You will need to have excellent relationship building skills and the ability to communicate a people-focused agenda to the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resource Management
  • Offer Management, Issuing of Contracts and On-Boarding
  • Providing assistance to the Senior Management team with HR Related queries. This may be for Internal Employees or Temporary Workers.
  • Supporting the Senior Management Team with Absence & Performance Management.
  • Managing Disciplinary & Grievance Procedures.
  • Managing TUPE requests and transfers
  • Supporting Change Management within the Business
  • Maintaining and updating the Companies Handbook
  • Working with Accounts to support the pay-rolling of Internal Employees
  • Managing benefits such as Pension, Healthcare, Life Insurance
Learning & Development
  • Implement Learning & Development Policies and Procedures.
  • Manage the Company induction process, ensure that any amendments are made in accordance with legislative changes.
  • Support the Training & Advancement Staff Development within the business.
  • Support Senior Managers with staff development goals.
Recruitment
  • Internal Recruitment
  • Provide advice of Recruitment & Selection strategies
  • Support the Recruitment Process with the preparation of Job Descriptions, Interview/Assessment Criteria etc.
  • Help continuous Recruitment Activity & Industry Networking to ensure the business attracts the best candidates
Requirements
  • CIPD Qualified
  • Previous experience in a HR generalist role
  • Ability to work autonomously and communicate effetely across all levels of the business.
  • Experience working within Recruitment or within Blue Collar Industry would be advantageous.
  • Experience providing consultative and commercially-minder HR guidance business leaders.
  • Strong Relationship Builder
