On behalf of a Distribution client in Thatcham, M4 Recruitment are seeking a number of Class 2 HGV 2 Driver for an immediate start in temporary to permanent position.
As a, Class 2 HGV 2 Driver your main duties would be as follows:
  • Deliver in areas such as Portsmouth / Reading / Basingstoke / Swindon – 5-10 deliveries per day
  • Assisting other crews to complete work when requested to do so
  • Ensuring that you maintain a courteous and professional demeanour at all times with the public and your colleagues
  • Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required to maintain a safe, clean working environment and service to our customers.
This role requires someone reliable and hard-working who is prepared to commit permanently. This is a physical role.

To be a successful applicant for this position Class 2 HGV 2 Driver, you will be required to have the following skills / experiences;

  • The ability to follow detailed processes to ensure the Health and Safety procedures are followed.

  • Customer Service skills
Desirable
  • Previous experience driving Class 2 HGV 2 Lorry but not essential
  • Have Valid Class 2 HGV 2 License, Valid CPC and Tachograph card - MUST
This position will require the candidate to be available to work Monday to Sunday start time between 6 am and 7 am depending on site – 8 hours day.
£13.67 per hour
