HR CONSULTANT

Telford or Shrewsbury, Shropshire

£22,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent upon experience) + Car Allowance

31 Days Annual Leave

Full Time - 37.5 Hours Per Week

Our client are an independent HR Consultancy, working with clients throughout the UK, although predominantly across Shropshire and the West Midlands, and we pride ourselves on offering a professional, yet personal approach that our clients say is what sets us apart from our competitors.

Due to continued expansion and growth, we are looking for a full-time HR Consultant to support a wide and varied range of employment matters, and become an integral part of a friendly, supportive, and growing team.
THE ROLE
To provide commercial Human Resources / Employment Law advice and support with activities across a variety of industry sectors. Working within a busy, fast-paced environment, this is a challenging and rewarding role for those who thrive on variety and have a passion for excellent customer service.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage a caseload of activity, including Recruitment, Disciplinary, Grievance, Sickness and Injury, Redundancy, Performance, Exit Strategies, Workshop Design and Delivery, and more! Although support is primarily given by way of telephone or email, on-site provision and travel are required as necessary to cater for all aspects of the role and client requirements.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and strategic partners, to ensure a high-level HR consultancy service is provided at all times, and to support internal projects and strategy.
THE INDIVIDUAL
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a friendly manner, coupled with assertiveness, diplomacy, and the ability to deliver on commitments. We are also looking for you to have a genuine desire to work collaboratively and contribute to the success of the team, demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, strive for continuous improvement, and be respectful of confidentiality and the sensitivity of client information.

Experience within an HR environment is essential, particularly within Employee Relations, as is up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. Ideally with a relevant CIPD or HR qualification, you will be seeking an exciting opportunity in which to develop and take the next step in your career.
THE OFFER
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, however part-time hours of 30 or more would be considered.

You would receive an annual salary of between £22,000 and £28,000 (dependent upon experience), plus a car allowance (pro rata), and 31 days annual leave per year.

You must have use of a suitable vehicle, be flexible, and willing to travel.
