We have an exciting opportunity within the HR Function - for a HR Business Partner to join the Team on a 6 months FTC in Tamworth. This is a position where you can really make a difference, holding responsibility for the project implementation on a new win !

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Lead the overall planning, control, status reporting, stability and delivery of part of a HR work stream of a large project / a small project (single area or product) to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope, budget and resource requirements
  • Identify and control the scope of the HR project workstream. Document scope changes and gain approval by required parties to ensure benefit realization
  • Support decision making through the provision of business intelligence and reporting of key metrics
  • Report HR project progress to all stakeholders in accordance with a well structured communications plan and ensure all communication is tailored to stakeholder needs
  • Provide expert advice on all people related project elements e.g. TUPE
  • Build strong relationships across all functional support e.g. Resourcing, People Services, Compensation and Benefits
  • Review project performance against the business cases and implement action plans to ensure benefit realisation
  • Identify the HR workstream project elements, resource, roles and responsibilities, SME’s required to deliver the business benefits
  • Partner the project team to accomplish the tasks as outlined, manage change and deliver business benefits
  • Manage the performance of the People Project Team members and escalate as appropriate

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Managed a Project or been a HR Workstream Lead for a major project
  • Experience of business implementation / start ups
  • Excellent practical working knowledge and application of TUPE regulations
  • Ability to communicate concisely and effectively at all levels
  • HR project management experience, or managing multiple priorities and stakeholder management (essential)
  • Experience of working with Trade Unions or Employee Representatives
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Project
  • PRINCE 2 or APM qualification desirable
