Reporting to the Head of People, as a People Partner, you’ll be instrumental in the execution of our People initiatives while ensuring alignment with our values and business objectives. Your role will entail enabling our people across multiple sites and fostering the professional development of line managers to nurture strong leadership capabilities.


What you will be doing

  • Partner with teams to drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement and colleague retention.
  • Support the development of line managers, providing guidance and coaching – becoming a true and trusted partner on performance management, recruitment, employee relations, and career development which supports talent mobility/internal progression within Aspire.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and managers.
  • Lead People/HR activities to support a diverse and engaged workforce. Equip and enable the Aspire team for success.
  • Stay updated on People/HR trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.


You will suit the role if you have

  • Deep understanding of current people practices and employment law and proven experience in applying this to a variety of situations in a progressive business.
  • Equivalent experience to Chartered CIPD level.
  • Ability to work well in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to enable the candidate to establish credibility, and articulate a clear vision and influence.
  • Able to manage information and interpret and present high-quality written, oral and numerical information.
  • Able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in TUPE and organisational design.

Salary

£37,000 to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location and Working Arrangements

You will be based at Aspire’s Gateshead Head Office with travel as required to other Aspire sites.


Hours of Work

Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday.

We generally conduct interviews in three stages, lasting approximately 2-3 weeks depending on everyone’s calendars.

  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a pre-screening call via teams to discuss your experience and what you’re looking for in your next role.

  • If successful in interview, candidates will be invited to an informal interview with key stakeholders at Aspire to meet the wider team(s).
