About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Telecoms Support Engineer to join the Telecoms Team. The Telecoms Support Engineer role will involve the day-to-day support of customer telephony installations, provisioning and setup of hosted telephony customers, and number configuration on the Aspire SBC platform.
What you will be doing
- Supporting Aspire’s hosted Mitel MiVoice Business Systems
- Supporting Mitel’s associated applications, including:
- NU Point
- MiContact Centre Business
- MiCollab
- MiVoice Call Recorder
- MSL/ MGB/ AWC/ OIG
- Supporting 3rd party applications including Call Logging & Call Recording platforms
- Managing system upgrades of Aspire & Customer platforms
You will suit the role if you have
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Experience in deploying and supporting Mitel telephony products
- Good understanding of general communications technologies, including SIP
- Fundamental understanding of IP Networks, including IP addressing, DHCP & VLANs
- A Mitel MCA or MCP qualification (desirable)

Salary
£25,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location and Working Arrangements
You will be based at Aspire’s Gateshead Quayside Head Office.
Hours of Work
Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
