Morgan Philips are supporting a market leading business in Milton Keynes to hire an experienced HR Business Partner who will be required to drive people strategy as well as managing the tactical elements. As the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for creating and implementing People Business Plans, managing talent and succession planning, developing career pathways and leading on employee relations. This role offers a competitive package with excellent benefits and hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office.

Key Duties

  • A key member of the leadership team accountable for the creation of People Business Plans
  • Development of robust persuasive business cases in collaboration with Directors/first line managers for people related solutions
  • Build the capability of managers through strong coaching and mentoring relationships for them to maximise potential and consistently raise the bar on performance
  • Ensure that the best possible and most appropriate solutions are delivered to the business, e.g. training/development; reward
  • Partner with the senior leadership teams to enable engagement levels to be proactively managed and worked target levels achieved
  • Proactively use org design/process improvement techniques to support change initiatives enabling the business to achieve appropriate levels of quality checks
  • Involvement in HR projects/initiatives

Requirements

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
  • Proven coaching and mentoring capability up to Board level with proven ability to deliver effective feedback
  • Proven written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and experience of dealing with complex employee relations issues
  • Ability to manage both the commercial business objectives and HR agenda in order to achieve the most appropriate outcomes for the business and HR
  • Strategic and operational HR background operating as a true commercial partner through the delivery of value-added activity
