Job Description

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Involves working within the UK Defence industry, requiring the applicants to be UK Nationals Only (No Dual Nationals) and able to be security cleared to a UK Eyes Only SC level

TRAVEL REQUIRED:Occasional travel within UK or other european sites

We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join Airbus Defence and Space in Newport, Wales.

As a strategic HR Business Partner you will be responsible for managing the delivery of a full range of HR services within the framework of the HR strategy, contributing to the delivery of the ‘Top Company Objectives’ through appropriate and timely HR interventions

How You Will Contribute To The Team

  • Provide HR guidance and support to management and employees across the full employment lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on attraction and retention
  • Have a good understanding of employment law and guide and manage employee relations cases and topics
  • Support and encourage the development of our employees
  • Work closely with leaders and employees to strengthen work relationships, increase employee engagement and increase productivity
  • Be a positive champion for the Company’s culture and values, with a passion for Diversity and Inclusion topics
  • Be a Team player, happy to work as part of the wider HR and comfortable working within a complex transnational matrix structure

About You

  • Degree level qualification and/or CIPD and/or proven HR Business Partner experience within a large organisation.
  • Employment Marketing and Branding experience desirable
  • Proficient IT skills
  • TUPE experience desirable
