Initially working with a 12m FTC, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to managers on human resource-related issues, whilst acting as employee champion and change agent.

You will work as part of the HRBP team in the UK alongside the global HR organisation, acting as partner for our Separation and Flow Technologies (SFT), Farm Technologies (FT) and Food & Healthcare Technologies (FHT) businesses.

The role is primarily based in our Milton Keynes office with some ad hoc travel to our sites at Kilmarnock and Warminster.

Responsibilities / Tasks
  • Partner with allocated divisions within the UK business, providing pragmatic guidance while acting as coach and sounding board to Senior Managers and driving the UK HR strategy.
  • Support the implementation of global, European and UK specific initiatives on change management, performance management, reward, resource planning etc. with opportunities to act as project lead on areas of specific interest
  • Work within the UK HR Team to design and implement local initiatives and people management processes to develop culture and employee engagement
  • Manage all ER cases across allocated division, overseeing end to end processes for performance management, disciplinary and grievance cases.
  • Advise on the legal implications of proposed actions relating to ER cases and offer guidance on commercially sound alternative approaches and/or outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver manager coaching sessions regarding new initiatives and communication.
  • Deliver coaching for overseas and cross - functional line managers to ensure consistency and alignment for UK employees within the global, matrix organisation.
  • Manage resource plans within target FTE for responsible areas.
  • Coordinate with Centres of Excellence regarding total reward, people and talent development and mobility assignments.
  • Coach and advise line managers and employees regarding maternity, paternity and parental leave cases including advice on leave, pay and HSE implications.
  • Deliver HR metrics, strategy and ER updates at UK Divisional meetings.
Your Profile / Qualifications
  • Experience working within a matrix organisation ideal
  • Knowledge of Workday ideal
  • Excellent communicator
  • Ability to adapt and change direction when needed
  • Minimum 3 years experience in HRBP role
