Job title:HR Business Partner – 6-month secondment

Base location:Birmingham or Hook

This position sits within Serco Business Services (SBS) and will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the people strategy and embedding good people management practices.

You’ll also support the Group divisions providing HR BP support to a number of Service Lines in addition to scoping and delivering project work. You will be responsible for implementing effective people management interventions across these functions but also for collaborating with other senior HR colleagues across Group HR Functions and the UK region to deliver a coherent and consistent people management approach. We’ll also be leaning on your expertise to drive performance using HR metrics to establish priorities and ensures continual improvement in HR delivery.

What You’ll Need To Do The Role

Firstly, you’ll need strong generalist HR knowledge to challenge and interpret policies and procedures and their implementation by management teams. You’ll need strong people management and relationship building skills with the ability to coach and mentor senior managers. Lastly, you’ll need demonstrable experience of delivering change in complex and demanding environments.
