Are you immediately available with prior experience working in HR within a Professional Services organisation?

We are thrilled to be supporting our long standing Legal client to recruit a HR Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a brand new role where you will support the HR Team, delivering a first class service to the partners and staff.

What you’ll do

  • Manage all generalist HR and Recruitment admin tasks
  • Manage all recruitment activities, liaising with agencies, drafting job descriptions and adverts
  • Support the HR Manager with the graduate recruitment and summer placements
  • Monitoring applications mailbox, shortlisting candidates and scheduling interviews
  • Attending recruitment fairs
  • Assist with HR projects as and when required
  • Support in production of HR reporting to the wider business
  • Developing, coordinating and carrying out induction schedules
  • Update the company website with live vacancies
  • Update and manage the HR system
  • Processing invoices to suppliers
  • Supporting with company wide Training, liaising with training providers
  • Booking various training courses, meeting rooms and ordering refreshments
  • Coordinate and circulate all related training materials, providing feedback on all courses
  • Proactively update systems when required
  • Pension and Payroll administration
  • Ad hoc HR/Training/Recruitment tasks
What you’ll need
  • Previous experience working within a HR environment
  • Proven background working within the legal sector or a professional services organisation
  • Highly professional and presentable
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • First class communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with an eye for detail
  • Proactive and highly organised
  • Strong IT Skills and ability to use different systems including MS Office, Intranet
  • Ability to work independently
