Our client is a leading logistics business

Job Description

The HR Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Providing operational teams with guidance on HR policies and processes
  • Heavy involvement in matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Assisting the HR Manager and General Manager in building and driving the site people plans.
  • Delivery of induction training for new starters, consistently updating welcome pack information.
  • Ensuring all elements of HR administration are carried out - e.g. starters, leavers, referencing, security and compliance checks, etc.
  • Partnering with the operational team to drive reduction in absence management and colleague turnover
  • HR reporting to support weekly and monthly strategy


The Successful Applicant

The ideal HR Advisor will have the following skills/ qualities:

  • Experience in an HR role, with exposure to Employee Relations cases
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a varied and dynamic workload
  • Ability to think creatively
  • Ability to make decisions and have confidence in your own convictions
