Job title: HR Administrator
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
Location: Newport
Salary: £13.26 per hour
Contract type: Full-time, temporary

Job role: to provide a comprehensive and flexible first class administrative support service to the Human Resources Department

Further responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all colleagues files are maintained and up to date
  • Process New Starter information accurately and in a timely manner by setting up on Mitrefinch system, including issuing access cards, scan points, and self-service portal
  • Maintain daily absence reporting to accurately reflect absence in ’real-time’ information
  • Co-ordinate with Managers to arrange probation reviews and Bradford absence management hearings in line with company policy
  • Provide administrative support with recruitment - advertising vacancies, CV reviews, arranging interviews
  • Process Leaver information accurately and in a timely manner within Mitrefinch, personnel files and ensuring accurate information communicated to Payroll
  • Maintain and manage Mitrefinch system to provide accurate reporting
  • Maintain HR inbox responding to, or referring queries as required
  • Any other tasks as required by the HR Controller

Role requirements:

  • Committed, disciplined and well organised
  • Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business
  • Ability to use own initiative and work with minimum supervision

Experience, skills and knowledge:

  • Intermediate computer skills, in particular Excel spreadsheets
  • Experience of using & maintaining HRIS software
  • Experience of HR administration tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
