At Wellsprings Hospital Site we are seeking an experienced individual who wants to contribute to our vision of providing excellent patient-centered and compassionate care within high quality, hygienic and comfortable environments. This is an exciting position in which the post holder will have a great opportunity to lead a team of service assistants and be involved in the local shaping and development of this post.

The successful applicant will report to our site Clinical Manager and will be responsible for day to day housekeeping, estates and facilities operations.

This will include the managing, leading and coordinating of a team of Band 2 Service Assistants across our hospital site which includes five busy wards.

Roles will include overseeing and maintaining our Trust’s high standards of hygiene, catering and housekeeping. This will include coordinating the service assistant team deployment, supervision and training needs. Overseeing cleaning audits and preparation for ward inspections. Commissioning hygienic, deep and technical cleans. Oversight of stock control, supplies and ordering. The post holder will also be involved in planning menus, and catering for ethnic and specialist diets.

The post holder will work closely with the clinical teams on site and will be an integral member of the site management team.
