Propel your career forward! Our client seeks a Hospital Chef to join their hospital team in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire!

Pay rates:£11.10 - £16.65 per hour, depending on hours/shifts worked

Shift pattern:rotation between day and back shift
  • Day shift: 6:30am - 2pm
  • Back shift: 11am - 6:30pm
Full-time, temporary opportunities in a busy and exciting environment are available for a Chef. Permanent employment may be offered to the right candidate after three months.

Full training is provided in various sections across the kitchen and restaurant areas!

As a Hospital Chef, Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene at all times, adhering our client’s rules and regulations
  • Ensuring that all food is correctly and safely prepared and stores
  • Ensuring that food is presented in a way that meets standards
  • Ensuring that all equipment is left clean at the end of your shift
  • Reporting equipment faults or concerns in line with agreed local procedures
  • Preparing, cooking, and serving meals for patients, staff, and visitors
The Ideal Hospital Chef Will Have
  • Basis disclosure due to work environment (essential)
  • City and Guilds 7061/7062 or equivalent NVQ or SVQ Level 2 General Catering
  • HACCP Level 2
  • Previous experience from working in a kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication skills along with the ability to work well in a team, and to work with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with strong organisational skills
