I am recruiting for a Home Officer to take place in the homes of young children with SEMH needs at a school located in Wokingham, Berkshire!This role would be best suited for someone who has come from a care background, done any support work (on any level) or done any mentoring in the past and is looking for a new challenge.
  • Monday to Friday only – Monday to Thursday shifts (Late): 12:30pm to 10:30pm // Fridays (Early): 7:15am to 4:15pm.
  • No waking night shifts!
  • There are several leads on shift at all times that will be able to support and provide any training to you on site.
  • Meals are provided for you when on shift - Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available!
  • NO personal care is involve
  • Your responsibilities would be: -
    • Cooking
    • Cleaning
    • Washing
    • Completing daily logs – Target setting
    • Witness medication being administered
    • Reporting any safeguarding concerns or/and reporting incidents
    • Supervising children in the residential homes
    • Teaching and guiding students to gain life skills in a home setting before they leave the school and become independent individuals!

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
