We are looking for compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our team of Community Care Assistants, who play a key role in meeting our customers needs & helping them to remain living independently in the comfort of their own home.Responsibilities of a Community Care Assistant:The responsibilities within a community care based role can vary depending on the needs of each individual customer. However, some of the common responsibilities of a community care assistant can include:- Personal Care: A community care assistant typically helps with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming.
- Medication Management: You may also be responsible for administering medication, or reminding individuals to take their medication at the correct times.
- Meal Preparation: Preparing meals and ensuring that individuals are eating a healthy, balanced diet is also an important part of a community care assistant’s role.
- Household Tasks: Community care assistants may help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.
- Companionship: Providing emotional support and companionship is also an important part of a community care assistant’s role, as it can help to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Previous experience in a care role is not essential, as full training will be provided.
- You will need a driving licence & access to your own car.
- You will also need to have the right to work in the UK without restriction.
- You will need to be able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week (shift patterns 7am-2pm & 4pm-10pm) and also alternate weekends.
- Competitive pay rates of £14.00 per hour contact time, up to £24.50 for bank holidays
