History Teacher required
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: £120-£180 per day
Contract: Full Time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and well qualified Teacher of History who can teach up to A-level for a reputed school in Leicestershire.
This is a full time role, due to commence immediately. Interested individuals should be able to instil the knowledge of History in young learners and inspire them to be passionate about the subject and achieve their goals academically.
Candidates both newly qualified and experienced in the field as a History teacher, are welcomed whole-heartedly.
The school has a flourishing department that pursues constant innovation and excellence, reflected in the results of the pupils. Teachers of the department enjoy free parking, lunch and good opportunities for career progression.

The Deserving Candidate Must Have

A degree in History with a relevant UK teaching qualification namely a PGCE with QTS
Foreign qualified instructors assessed by NARIC are welcome to apply
Relevant teaching experience in a school setting for Years 9 to 12 is required
Up to date in their field of expertise with the capability to foster curiosity and interest for the subject
Strongly committed to pupil welfare
Strong command of the curriculum and good behaviour management skills; able to meet deadlines
In possession of an enhanced DBS or willing to apply for one through GSL Education
