We are excited to offer this excellent part-time opportunity for an experienced SLT to join our Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Service as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).We are a friendly and supportive team, consisting of a large team of therapists and TIs across all bandings, with access to clinical specialists and admin support. We are committed to working innovatively and we have a robust support and clinical supervision programme in place, also focusing on staff wellbeing.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post: Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.You will have specialist knowledge of AAC and you will be passionate to deliver high quality services to children using AAC. You will work with children who require AAC and their families, providing joint working, consultation, training, advice and support for other professionals. You will support with general service development work and support departmental projects as appropriate.Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is part of the NHS Wales family.
