Description

Engie are looking for a Higher Apprentice Site Manager to join our team based in Wolverhampton, WV10-0HP. The role will start with us ASAP, your training with the University will begin in September.

What is your day to day?

To assist the site team to manage the building project in accordance with agreed timescales, quality and cost. To develop excellent relationships with customers and assist in managing the Supply Chain. At the same time you will develop your own working knowledge through on site experience and further education via day release. To assist the site team to manage a contract which has variable value ranges.

Entry Requirements

Individual employers will set their own selection criteria for this apprenticeship. As it requires achievement to Level 6 the typical entry requirements for this Apprenticeship will be the completion of the Level 4 Construction Technician Standard; Technician status or the equivalent with the industry’s recognised professional bodies; HNC in Construction or equivalent qualifications and commensurate industry experience

Qualifications

Who are you?

  • Previous Site experience
  • Up to date relevant knowledge of building legislation
  • Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Understanding of local government construction (refurb/New Build) projects
  • Ability to competently operate MS office (Word & Excel)
  • Current and Valid UK driving licence
  • Ability to fully operate Microsoft Project
  • Financial and commercial awareness
