Role:HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

Location:Ivybridge, PL21 9PE

Salary:Up to £36,769 per annum + OT

Hours: 45 hours per week | between 08:00 and 17:30 Monday to Friday

We are looking for a HGV Technician at our Ivybridge site. This is a crucial and challenging Aftermarket role.

The role:

  • To manage the repair and servicing of customer vehicles: - this includes routine services, MOT preparation and a wide range of chassis and body repairs including fault diagnosis.
  • To ensure remedial & maintenance work is achieved to customer’s satisfaction both breakdowns and all other work carried out at customer’s premises.
  • To carry out administration and other work in connection with Company activities as appropriate.

Your experience:

  • Achieved Year 3 City & Guilds training or equivalent
  • Commercial vehicle repair and servicing
  • Good diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a wider team
  • Understanding of electronics and hydraulics
  • Basic administrative skills
