HGV Nightshift Foreman / Supervisor needed in CarlisleMonday to Friday (8pm to 6am Permanent Nightshift)£22.80ph (47.5 x hours a week = £56,316pa)

About Our ClientMy client is a HGV/ LGV and Van - main dealership workshop based in CarlisleJob DescriptionNightshift HGV Foreman / Supervisor + Technician. The job will entail diagnostic work, MOT preparation, general maintenance and servicing. Whilst only working 60% on the tools, 40% of your night will be ordering parts, handover with the dayshift foreman, giving job card / work to the other HGV Nightshift Technicians, . The workshop at Night, is your responsibility.The Successful Applicant
  • Technical Qualification or proven experience of repairing and maintaining vehicles LGV / HGV Technical / Mechanical Engineer qualifications, 2 or 3 NVQ level, IMI Level or City & Guilds. Class 1 or 2, HGV License
  • The ability to work under pressure, actively seek solutions to problems and having the flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks are all key attributes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively within your team and manage internal relationship to deliver required information in a timely clear manor.
  • All works must be accurate and consistent adhering to all processes and procedures.
  • You will have to be a strong charactor to organise the Nightshift workload and Technician, its your responsibilty at Night.
  • You must have a good understanding of workshop Health & Safety legislation.
