  • Chilcompton We are seeking and experienced and Level 3 qualified HGV Technician in Chilcompton. As a large HGV Main Dealer Group representing a prestigious brand, we want the best and offer an excellent package and support. The role of a HGV Technician: Service and Repair of a variety of heavy and light commercial vehicles Good understanding and knowledge of VOSA regulations / standards Diagnosing faults using appropriate software Service, repair and fault diagnostics work on all vehicles Employing a ’right first time’ approach to work Ensuring constant quality of work and working within appropriate job timings Repair of hydraulic drive systems where appropriate MOT preparation and inspections work on vehicles and trailers Completion of all specific company and official paperwork Requirements for the HGV Technician: Industry qualifications achieved to a minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or mechanical engineering (all modules completed) Heavy Vehicle Qualification. Previous working experience as a technician with a strong technical background.
