Overview

Apply today to work amongst our exciting team at our Milton Keynes branch. Your role is responsible for the smooth running of the depot yard, ensuring an efficient operation, through high standards of housekeeping, customer communication, and movement and maintenance of vehicles.

essential duties and job responsibilities

  • Ensure the site is kept free of litter
  • Check in courtesy cars and check general condition, oil, water etc
  • Deal with customer’s parking vehicles in the correct manner
  • Oversee health and safety regulations and ensure safe working practices are adhered to
  • Check the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the site and rectify where required
  • Collection and delivery of customers vehicles
  • Other duties as specified by the Depot Manager

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • General knowledge of the Industry
  • Experienced Class 1 HGV driver
  • A general knowledge of maintenance practices
  • Current driving licence
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work within guidelines and to deadlines
  • Solution driven approach
  • Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills
