Fancy working Monday to Friday without the worry of wondering where your next contract is coming from? How about a job which is going to give ongoing development and training? How about getting the opportunity to deliver from Lands End to John O’Groats? This isn’t your average delivery job, every day is going to be completely different. Not only that you will be working with a great group of drivers, and even the Transport Manager has told me you won’t work for a better one than him! Plus your truck is assigned to you, so you will know that the way you leave it on a Friday is the way you find it on a Monday morning (clean obviously). So how does this sound? Good? well, we are currently looking for a driver to join our team at our Alfreton site in Derbyshire.

We’re looking to offer a salary based on an OTE of £42,000 including overtime and night out payments. We offer 20 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays). You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks including ongoing CPC training.


What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • You will be tramping 4 nights per week, back to base on a Friday
  • You will be delivering plastic pipe to sites around the UK
  • You will average 55 hours per week


What you need to succeed at XPO:


  • You must have a valid LGV C+E license
  • Up to date CPC
  • Ideally, you will have HIAB ticket and experience
  • No more than 6 points on your license
  • No DD or DR endorsements
