4 DAY CONTRACT/WORKING PATTERN – FROM THURSDAY TO SUNDAY

48 HOURS GUARANTEED OVER THESE DAYS, FULL TIME REGULAR ONGOING WORK

NEWLY QUALIFIED LGV1, HGV1, C+E, LGV 1, HGV 1, CE, CLASS 1 DRIVERS WELCOME

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers to work for a new project for our client based in Solihull, Birmingham.

PAYE rates including holiday in lieu for the role of HGV Class 1 driver are as follows:
  • Monday to Friday Days – £17.93 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Nights – £20.17 per hour
  • Saturday All Day – £21.59 per hour
  • Sunday All Day – £25.19 per hour
PAYE rates with accrued holiday for the role of HGV Class 1 driver are as follow:
  • Monday to Friday Days – £16.00 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Nights – £18.00 per hour
  • Saturdays – £19.27 per hour
  • Sundays – £22.48 per hour
This multi user logistics site and flagship operation will reward successful applicants with regular on going work throughout the year. Flexible start times on days, afternoons and nights available.

Please also contact us to discuss our new, entirely optional, alternative arrangement, where a driver would receive a payment in lieu of holiday accrued, which is paid weekly as you work, rather than holiday pay being accrued to be taken at a later date.

If you chose this option, you must still follow the standard holiday processes in respect of booking periods of time off from work and will be actively encouraged to take appropriate time off each year.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV 1 driver, the work will involve Class 1 collection and Delivery work., this site operates all year round and will provide each driver with a long term ongoing assignments with a highly maintained and specification fleet of vehicles. Weekend work is also available.

We have other sites locally that we can offer work at, if for any reasons shifts are not available.

Our Perfect Worker

As an HGV LGV Class 1 driver, you will ideally have -
  • Experience desirable but not essential
  • Newly qualified drivers are welcomed and coaching is available for right candidate
  • No more than 6 points
  • Digi card and DQC
