We are currently recruiting for a number of HGV 1 drivers for permanent positions at our customer based in Wednesbury.

You will be doing general haulage work on a curtain sided trailer.

You will have approximately 1-4 drops or collections per shift.

This is very clean work with no handball involved.

You will just be required to use ratchet straps to secure the load.

Start times range between 06:00
  • 14:00.
Shift lengths are usuallly 12 hours each day.

This is a Monday
  • Friday position with optional weekend over time avaialble if you want it.
Salary £33,000 rising to £38,000 after 3 months probation period.

Whilst completing the temp to perm through agency, you will be on an hourly rate of £14.00 per hour including holiday.

This is a ’salaried’ role meaning you will be paid your salary of £38K no matter how many hours you work during the week.

Saturdays and Sundays are paid as overtime rates.

Drivers typically do around 12 hours per day.

For this role you will need to have a minimum of 2 years HGV 1 experience and no more than 6 points for minor offence.
