Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers with immediate starts for our prestigious client based out of Milton Keynes.

Umbrella rates for the role of HGV 1 driver are as follows:
  • Monday to Friday Days – £18.52 to £19.74 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Nights – £20.38 to £20.97 per hour
  • Overtime Monday to Friday after 9.5 hours – £23.71 per hour
  • Saturday & Sunday Days – £24.04 to £25.24 per hour
  • Saturday & Sunday Nights – £25.88 to £26.48 per hour
PAYE rates including accrued holiday for the role of HGV 1 driver are as follows:
  • Monday to Friday Days – £15.31 to £16.29 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Nights – £16.81 to £17.29 per hour
  • Overtime Monday to Friday after 9.5 hours – £19.50 per hour
  • Saturday & Sunday Days – £19.77 to £20.74 per hour
  • Saturday & Sunday Nights – £21.25 to £21.74 per hour
Immediate starts available for all successful candidates with a minimum 9.5 hours per shift and overtime paid after standard shift. We are currently offering full time and part-time regular work, as well as weekend-only contracts. Shifts available on all start times across 7 days a week. Weekend work available every Saturday and Sunday. Part time HGV drivers are welcome to apply.

Please contact us to discuss our new, entirely optional, alternative arrangement, where a driver would receive a payment in lieu of holiday accrued, which is paid weekly as you work, rather than holiday pay being accrued to be taken at a later date.

If you chose this option, you must still follow the standard holiday processes in respect of booking periods of time off from work and will be actively encouraged to take appropriate time off each year.

Your Time at Work

As HGV 1 driver, the work will involve Class 1 Depot Delivery work, store deliveries throughout the UK. This site operates all year round and will provide each driver with a long term ongoing assignments. In return for your commitment we can offer regular shifts and start times that suit you.

Our Perfect Worker

As an HGV LGV Class 1 driver, you will ideally have -
  • 12 months HGV driving experience
  • Previous experience in store deliveries and manoeuvring in tight spaces
  • No more than 6 points
  • Digi card and DCPC
