With this in mind we will be hosting an afternoon event which will allow you to meet some of the key members of the team; find out more about our Star Pubs & Bars business as well as the understand more about the Development Manager (BDM) role that we believe we will be recruiting for over the next 3-6 months within various locations in the Midlands & East Anglia. We’ll also be setting up a few activities to allow us to find out more about you and your strengths – we think you’ll enjoy them!

The Role

The BDM role within Star Pubs & Bars is considered a true retail and commercial generalist, you’ll be supporting approximately 35 pubs and utilising the specialist skills and knowledge of the wider team. The role is at the forefront of our relationship with our customers and pivotal to the success of Star Pubs & Bars, responsible for working collaboratively with a virtual team, including Pub Operations, Estates Manager and Property Team as the key support roles.

Overall, this role is about collaborating with your pub operators to create a great retail experience for the consumer. To achieve this, you’ll create a unique Business Plan for each Pub in your remit, encompassing recruitment of new lessees, reviewing commercial terms, and delivering Brand/Marketing Plans.

We’re looking to hear from candidates who have the skill sets required above but have gained them from outside of the pub industry, the most important part is that you’re as passionate about being customer-centric.
